Online high school diploma

I just turned 18 and I've wanted to become a Marine for years now. I'm currently a senior in highschool but i would love to speed up the process. I'm having trouble focusing at highschool with how long and boring it is. Could I get a legit diploma from an accredited online school and join? There are a few recruiters who belong to Leatherneck and come on when and if they get the time, and they haven't been on in a while. Your best bet is to go and talk with a recruiter face-to-face to get the most up-to-date and accurate info on this.
