I want to know, Marines do you think it is a good idea to buy Insanity and or PX90 before going to boot camp to become more physically fit? I also heard of a SealFit book and a Recon workout program from stewsmith site. Has anyone tried those? From the two programs I saw information about it seams like they train mostly endurance and some muscle. So should I put out some money for the workout plan or just do whatever plan I make myself ?

If you can pass your IST with no problems I wouldn't concern yourself with doing anything more.

ok. Are the pull ups and push ups normal width range,(shoulders) narrow(within chest width), or wide width range(past shoulder width) ?

you can do the pull ups however you want. my suggestion is to train with an over hand grip(palms facing away) and as wide as you can possibly go in order to build your back muscles.
