Hello, I'm a Poolee from Visalia, California. My Shipment date is June 11th 2012, which is pretty much close to a week considering the date is June 1st. I've asked for the MOS of Combat Engineer and for some reason on my contract CM does not look like the Acronym for Combat Engineer. Can anybody please help me on this, i don't want to get cheated out of a MOS that they told me was what i thought. Any help would be greatly appreciated or if CM is the military Acronym for Combat Engineer.

~thank you~ USMC Poolee Benavente

Your profile is a little light on the information.

If I'm not mistaken CM is merely the code for your contract, which includes the MOS fields of 1100 and 1300 (engineers). Whether you get the exact MOS of combat engineer will be up to the needs of the Corps.

Thank you Marines, I called up my Recruiter and asked about the MOS number. I was told 1371 so that pretty much confirmed it, my thoughts are now at ease. I'm even more axioms and excited to hit bootcamp in just nine more days! With that said, i can't wait to earn my title as a US Marine!
