I know this has been covered but I have a new twist. What exactly do you do on your first trip. And I want to hear some personal stories from you Marines. What should I wear? Thank you I've been pting with my station for a year finally ready for the first steps.

Wear normal clothes. You will do exactly what they tell you.

Take a shower, brush your teeth, shave, wear clean/ironed clothes. Listen to your recruiter. Don't take any cash with you (won't need it). Keep your mouth shut. Do what you're told to do. Don't fall asleep. Simple...but a lot of poolees mess it up (some get sent home).
