My son is a 2nd LT in the Corps. He and two of his friends were at the Marine Corps. Ball in Richmond Va. After the ball, they went to a bar and as they entered this busy establishment in their dress blues, all activity stopped and all eyes were on these three young Marine officers. Everyone stood up together and gave them a standing ovation. My son, normally a reserved young man, said that he was overwhelmed with such a sense of pride to be able to represent the Corps.,so full of tradition with a history of duty honor and self-sacrifice. God Bless The Corps.

thank you for the welcome Top. I am honored. In my case
It would appear that the spirit of the Corps is so powerful that even old dogs can learn some powerful lessons if you really take the time to listen to your Marine.

I feel the same pride as all of you. My father, mother, older brother and I are all Marines. None are still active but still Marines. Semper Fidelis!
