My uncle, Capt. John Lawrence Broderick USMC service no. 103178. had USMC sword was stolen years ago, and today he mentioned how upset he still is about it and how he would like more than anything to get it back. I have been poking around online, and this seems to happen a lot. I was surprised to find that there is not a database or anything where people can come and post that they have lost or found a sword. Has anyone else found a website that offers this? If not, is this something that this site could offer? I know that it is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but even if only a small fraction of these weapons were returned, it would be a great thing.
