Everything depends on this MEPS decision. I was Permanently Disqualified for an asthmatic/bronchial cough last month through the Coast Guard. Now that I’ve switched over to the Marine Corps, I had to take a Pulmonary Function Test and get a doctor’s note to prove that I don’t have asthma. Sent it all in last week. My recruiter calls me today and told me three things can happen:
1.) Meps will let me take a physical.
2.) Meps will DQ me with a waiver.
3.) Meps will still PDQ, no chance.
BLAH. I hope number 3 doesn’t come true. =((( I don’t even have asthma.
I'm worried as to what results I'll get.
