Hello Sirs,
I've been researching life as a Marine going from enlisted to officer and trying to correlate it to my future MOS.
My plan so far is to become a fixed wing mechanic. I only have 15ish college credits and from what i've heard, the days on the job are long so education as an enlistee may be unrealistic? true or not
Any advice on a path to take? Possibly a section (ie. powerplant, airframe) that will give me some time for classes?
I also assume my field will change(?) as I looked at officer jobs and 62xx wasn't even there? Will i have to go back to training for say 72xx then OCS?
My primary goal and concentration is to first earn the title "Marine" but who can blame a man who wants the knowledge & to be the best he can be in the future ;)
