Hey everyone. I was unable to update my profile, I havent used this website since before I went in over two years ago now, so I hope I won't catch to much flack about my profile saying im a poolee. But my question is this I'm currently a Motor T mechanic in a reserve unit in Dallas. My hope is to find out wether or not its possible for me to go active with a gauranteed lat move to the 03 field. I've done what I can to get this information from my unit but our career retention specialist has just been replaced and theres a long line of Marines out side his door every drill weekend already. Thanks for any help in advance its greatly appreciated.

Profile...updated. I'm also moving this one to 'Ask a Marine' where you'll likely get more responses.

As to your question....I wouldn't count on it.

Doubtful. Your best best will probably be going AR. I would recommend contacting a PSR in your area.(817) 732-1909 that should be the one for Ft Worth area.

Yes I am also interested in this question. I already talked to a PSR and he told me that since there was no open Retrains for this fiscal year I would have to wait until October to submit a package. How hard is it to actually get accepted and become active reserve?
