Good Afternoon Marines.

I saw a thread on here once before that mentioned something about Radio Recon.

I was wanting to go in as an 03xx, with hopes of making it into Recon, but all the slots are filled so I'm going with an 06xx Communication contract and hoping to get Field Radio Operator and be attached to Infantry.

My question is: Could any of you provide information on Radio Recon? Such as what do they do? Are they considered Recon Marines?
Same training as Recon?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Thank you Sergeant.
I believe you are the one who posted about it before.

Long story short, going 0600 will make you ineligible for Radio Recon. You must be a 2600 signals intel/electronic warfare Marine to volunteer for Radio Recon.

Look at what 1stRad said in the links he provided; really good information.

I've already checked them out.
The link to the 1stRad website doesn't work though.

Other than that, they are very informative/
