Yes , I'am overweight I'm around 249-250 and I'm nearing the 6ft haven't measured in a while but I'm sure I'm 5'11.....

I've seen the Marine Corps charts and it says some weight requirements that come a bit weird to me .. Since I seen some real fat marines....

Now I don't have a problem dropping weight but how did the other over weight marines get in?

I'm 17 btw.

you need to drop about 50lbs just to be within standards.

There really is no way to say how other over weight poolees/recruits got in?...that would be a case by case basis and their recruiters job/fault for letting them ship.

My biggest question to you is...how are you 17 and that heavy?...are you active at all?..sports?..anything?

They were called fat bodies or hog bodies in my time, the SDI would like to have jacked up the recruiters azz,lol, Semper Fidelis.
