From the Marines that know and have talked to, they graduated boot camp from 3rd battalion PI. All of them have infantry contracts. Do all infantry end up in 3rd battalion, or can you have an infantry contract and still be in 1st or 2nd bn.

Battalions have nothing to do with your MOS, its all about entry dates, when your scheduled to arrive and slots open. I'm a 1141 Electrician and am a 3rd Battalion Graduate.

No, that has nothing to do with it. I had plenty of infantrymen in my platoon and I was in 2nd BN.

The only battalions that infantrymen don't go to is 4th BN, but I'll let you figure that one out.
