This Provisional Rifle Company was also know as "PRC", "Prod Rifles", and "Clutch". We where stationed at Camp Books. As I recall anyone station at Camp Books could request a transferred to this Provisional Rifle Company and could expect to be transferred to it. I was a volunteer and transferred from Supply Battalion. Marines had transferred from most of Camp Books battalions. Some Provisional Rifle Company Marines where 0311. Most where not.
