Hi, I'm researching my dad's time in the Marine Corps. He never talked about it much but recently gave me his Recruit Training Graduation Platoon 263 book, some photos and a few pages of this Record of Service / Combat History. I've been looking through the Records of War site for information...mostly found Command Chronologies for his unit. Would really love to surprise him with his buddies contact info and get a hold of the Rosters & Unit Diaries (mostly to figure out the correct spelling of his biddies names) for A Co, 1st Bn, 3rd Mar, 3rd Div, 9th MAB, FMF, A Co, 1st Bn 3rd Mar 3rd Div (rein) FMF and 3rd CAG, III MAF. I don't know the villages he patrolled in Hue / Phu Bai area from Mar 68 - Sep 69. I would be interested in any stories anyone had that was in the same unit/regiment.
