I'm a little surprised. The studio that I trained at for 7 years had the American flag of which we bowed when we entered and departed. Picture is my daughter in the red gear when she was a 2nd Degree BlackBelt. She was 12 at the time. (FYI.. She droped the guy like a bad habit)

Wrestler, coach and referee. Collegiate, greco and freestyle but would have rather been a ninja, or super model.

I used to be under G. Yamaguchi's group but the annual trips out to San Fransico, and general distance from Yamaguchi, was a real burden. We switched to M. Yamakura's GKK as he was closer to us.

I am looking to get into Krav Maga. Any type of martial art is better than nothing, but KM looks like it is better suited for what i want out of it.

hussaf,
Sensei Yamaguchi's Dojo, at the time I visited it, was located right smack dab in the middle of the Castro Street Region of San Francisco. (Yes, the notorious Castro Street of alternative life style fame...spelled GAY.) I practiced in a dojo one block up the street from Sensei Yamaguchi.

Bunkai.
Still beat on the old makiwawa in the back yard.
Neighbors think I'm loco and they are right.
No one complains though.

Would like to get back into Krav Maga. Grey belt in MCMAP but I would like to train more in it but unfortunately for my unit, MCMAP is on the bottom of its to do list.
