A lil help

Well the thing is last night , I felt a strange pain as I did number 17 in my right bicep. The pain is still here and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so what did you do?

You probably havent rested your arm well enough...you may have strained a muscle.

Yea, thats just about the best advice I have. Try like an ice pack or take a few advils or something over the next few days.

Yeah, the advil will help, but only if you actually take it at regular intervals instead of just when it hurts. It does no good except as a painkiller if you don't.

stretch it and do a light work out tomorrow with dumbells then let it rest then do another light workout.

when ever i get pain in my muscles and it feels like its been cut or has a needle sticking in it. i just rub it our at night and do another workout the following day. it breaks it down and builds on top of it. pain goes away too. just dont do a heavy workout (so curl 20's instead of 45's)

Was the pain sharp or dull? How badly does it hurt? It's probably just a muscle strain, but you have to be careful about overuse injuries. Make sure you are getting adequate rest between workouts, and make sure that you are stretching BEFORE and AFTER working out.

Rest is just as important as working out--it's during the rebuilding rest stage that muscle develops. I don't know what your workouts are like but try doing it every other day or splitting upper and lower body into seperate days.

Thats happened to me before. Stretch!! I cant stress that enough. Dont be freaked out if it stays "sore" for several days. If that happens, head to the clinic. They had to give me some kind of steroid and it was normal in about 2 days. Hang in there, dont try to he-man it.

Just change hands...lol, if at pullup #17 you're switching from your right hand to your left hand, my cover is off to you, good sir. *formal bow* That'd be quite the trick.

I'm not so sure he was making a reference to one arm pull-ups Like others have said, stretch/rest!
