What is the Best Battalion? - Marine Corps Community for USMC Marine Veterans

I herd a rumor that different battalions are better than others. Like 1rd battalion PT real hard, and 2nd battalion are real smart. 3rd battaloin is real hard tough and that where all the tough Marines are made.

Also i would like to know how to find out what battalion i would be in. I ship dec27.

People like to find ways to prop their own battalion up. Truth is, they're all the same. They all make Marines, and that is their only mission.

The best battalion in recruit training is the one you're in. So, be proud and do your best to make make your Drill Instructors proud of you.

I graduated in 3rd BN, M Co, Lead Series, PLT 3096 honor PLT. We did alot of drilling and alot of killing.
