What are your favourite Patriotic songs? - Marine Corps Community for USMC Marine Veterans

Hi everyone!

In preparation for Independence Day, I'm going to assemble a patriotic music playlist (boy do I love the internet, lol). Anyway, I'd love to hear you guys' suggestions? Track order is important as well, and if you have a favourite rendition of a song by a particular artist, list that as well

I'm aiming for anywhere between 10-20 songs.
I love living in the UK, where you feel like an underdog when you're american, it makes these kinds of songs especially inspiring

So far, I've found a good reading of the pledge of allegiance and Declaration of Independence, and of course some essentials like the National Anthem, amazing grace, God Bless the USA (lee greenwood

) and 'This land is our land' (pete seeger).
Can't wait to hear your thoughts...

Whitney Houston's version of the National Anthemn that she did at some baseball game or something a few years back and (they're not your typical patriotic songs) Born In the USA by Bruce Springsteen and Red, White and Blue by Lynard Skynard.

Hey keep in note it's not the "Marine Corps Hymn" it's the "MARINES HYMN."
