    Members of 2nd Recon 2nd MarDiv FMF

    Sgthermogenesm.
    Looking for member's of my unit A Co 2nd Recon Bn 2nd MarDiv FMF CLNC
    From 1969- 1973 We were station out on Onslow beach. Home of 2nd Recon.
    Or any formar or present Recon Marines.at FMF CLNC.

    hello hermogenesm. I'm sorry to hear that you are blind and that nobody even tried to get back to you. I would like to thank you however for confirming that my dad left the country. I have a paper with "HEADQUARTERS, 2D MARDIV, FMF, CLC" that was on an original orders piece of paper of my father's. Until your post I didn't think that my dad's company even existed.

    I was in 1st Plt A Co 2nd Recon Bn Onslow Beach. I was then L/CPL Morris and Sgt Johnson was the Plt SGT. 1972-1974. My TL was CPL Clevenger and team members was Mike Bruce, David Keyes, Skip Taylor, Donald fellows, John Tabaka and Doc Walker (Corps Man). Old Barracks and Repelling tower. My Cell # is 941-330-4377 call me Marrero!

    Thanks Apache! Same to you. My Dad was there, the same place and same time. He was a 1st SGT US Army, Field Artillery Americal Div.. They were over ran and he an a hand full of the Battery got out but not without massive wounds. Ended his 22 yr career. He passed away May of 1988 of lung cancer. That was his 2nd tour. Semper Fi Brother!

    I was in A Co. 2nd Recon Bn. Onslow Beach. 3rd Platoon I believe. Served as Radio Operator from 77 - 80......
