Good evening all. Well, things did go quiet pleasant until I had to take George a carton of cigs. along with some clothes and shaving kit. He was sittin' outside smoking a cig. when we got there. Now, I asked him to show me his room so I could put everything, and he told me where it was and sat there. Asked him if he would go with me as a "spell" of mine had hit me and he said in a mad tone of voice how to get to his room and wouldn't even....!! Would you believe he said, oh gotta wait for Nicole cause she's gonna put me in shower today. Hospice aide. He didn't ask how I was doing, or anything about the house or anything, not even how John was doing. He said, "how's my little girl doing? Little Bit our house dog" Said hide them cigarettes cause they'll get stolen; already had 4 packs stolen. Well found out that he has been giving cigs out to patients and has been real friendly and all nice. What am I suppose to do? Dam him!!
Hope all had a good day Talk to ya'll later. Take care and God bless. Luv ya.
Hugs,

Evening Marines, I have had a great day starting with a call to Rocky and then Karen and I did Karen and Buddy to do list together instead of Honey Do.
What a gal she can even drive the tractor.
Chickens followed us around today and we spoiled them by feeding them by hand
Bubba and Cody are doing good and we moved them into the small barn where we put Redman down. Its the first time I have been to that barn since Redman was put down.
Other than past memories we had a good day on sunshine and temps in the 70's but rain coming tomorrow
Linda I don't know what to say except I am sorry you don't have some of my good life in yours. Hope George acts better later but I guess I can understand why he acts that way although its not fare to you. He is angry with the situation and takes you for granted and doesn't understand what he is doing at least I hope he don't.
Linda we are always here for you and thanks for your service to our Corps.
Going to have a roast with taters from the crock pot tonight boy it smells good

Evening Marines and Doc's. Well, George wanted to come home because he couldn't get his way! They locked his cigs and lighter up and allow only 1 cig. per hr. and lighter also. After that they are locked up. I have to laugh about it cause might be a way to get him to quit smoking. Nah! That won't happen! Now comes the hard part, I am going to have to tell John, our son, about George, and how I am going to tell him is going to be hard cause I am going to choose my words real easy, tone of voice, etc. and have some body there that will hold him down. If I know him, he will jump up and take off running. Robert will be there with me cause he knows and trusts Robert, plus his counselor will be there. I have to tell John now cause of things moving faster than expected, especially having him being in nursing home. He's got sudden impulse disorder. If you look at his pic in my album you can tell most likely how strong and big that "kid" is. He turned 36 on the 15th. I'm doing ok and holding up ok. and I'm still stubborn and bull headed as ever!!
Anywho! Hope all had a good day. DocGreek I remember the Everly Brothers and just by chance I had played their All Time Greatest Hits CD last night while in chat room. As I am typing this out, I got Hank Locklin hits playing. I love them Country classics and rock 'n roll from the "old days". Well, enough of my rambling on, all have a restful night and finish out the weekend be good. Talk to ya'll later and take care. Prayers are going out to them that need it , especially to Dave. God bless. Luv ya all.

The time difference is big enough between here and there that I never know whether to post morning or evening zephyr. Great to see you all!

The father daughter dance went great. We all got dressed up in our sunday go to meeting clothes and went and had a good time. I had two dates... pictures coming. I was impressed the number of soldiers sailors airman and Marines that showed up in uniform. It was a packed house. Amazing how contacts just multiply. We did the electric slide and the macarena and then ate some home made cookies and everybody got their picture taken. It was all good and I encountered many friends I've met here in Germany. Some of them I hadn't seen since last year father daughter dance. I escorted a couple of extra young ladies as their dads are deployed. I was the most popular dance partner in the place. It was awesome.

I hope everyone had a superstar semper fi day. I did.

Excellent job, Dad! Girls need a good male parental role model. Keeps 'em off the pole.

Evening all, Cool evening. Cloudy and gloomy like it wanted to rain all day, but nothing developed. 50 degrees with light winds this evening. Soooo I decided to have one last T-bone (two 24 ouncers) on the grill for dinner. Can't remember the last time I had T-bone on the grill three days before Turkey day. Thought the wifey was gonna faint when she took that first bite. Hadn't grilled steak in over a month. Added a few hickory chips for that smoky flavor. Yum!!!

Buddy, I have a Marine Corps Blanket myself. Was made for me by my Aunt. She bought the material at Wally-world. That and my two KC Chiefs throws keep me toasty on cool evenings.

Rain forecast for Tuesday and Wed. Might be a short week before Thanksgiving. You all have a good week. SF

Howdy Ya'll! I sure do feel good cause I just got my tummy full. Robert had orders from "The Boss" and his mom in law to bring me supper, which consisted of turkey and dressing, macaroni and cheese, corn and green beans, 2 rolls and chocolate iced vanilla cake. and I had a soda pop to drink with it all. Was a quiet and peaceful day, along with it being a beautiful sunny day. Hope all had a good day, Did ya'll behave yourselves? oops! was that me asking that? lol
I'll find some photos of the quilts I've made, which ain't very many; just make them for friends and family.
Take care and talk to ya'll later. All have a restful night. God bless. Luv ya.
Hugs,
Semper Fi
