Its a cool sunny day here in Western N. C.
Karen and I are going to put in some more kitchen cabinets today that I took out of one of my good customers homes last week.
I'm looking forward to seeing Ed and his wife later next week since they survived the visit with Doc Greek.
Sure is lonely around hear with Redman its amazing how this happy place has changed without him

Evening, Dave. Had an interesting day going to a Poolie function and all. There were hot dogs, hamburgers, gatorade and water and a couple of Happy 234th Birthday Marine's cakes. It was windy as all get out and it took me about two hours to clean and prepare the 50 gallon drum smoker/ charcoal using barbeque grill that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Geez, what a task that was. That piece of equipment was made awhile back, it was real solid, welded and heavier than h*ll. All in all, the grill performed really well and the chow was wolfed down with little or no chewing. The Gunnery Sergeant did the cooking and he did a good job. What did you expect me to say? If anything, I'm loyal to those who provide food for the table. LOL.
Dave, have the best night that you've had in a long time. I hope that your night is pain free and relaxing. Pass on my best to one and all. I'll come on bye tomorrow for a wee bit.

Dave, I don't post much in your thread 'cause I just don't very well know what to say besides small talk (which is OK, I guess, but I ain't good at it). I wish peace upon you, brother, you have earned it in your lifetime. All of your brothers and sisters on this site are your friends, and are behind you, pulling for you to win. When I reflect on how you mentored the poolees that you did, it reminds me that we all should try to help the kids (no matter how dopey they seem), 'cause they are the future of our Corps.
