Met a "Doc" yesterday.

At a gas station I noticed a "Semper Fi" sticker on an old mini pickup. Me being me,,,I asked "Is that your sticker?". "Sure is, but I was Doc". I said "that's good enough for me". Showed him my EGA tattoo. He said serving with the Marines was the best thing in his life. Turns out he went over there in '62 with Marine advisors. So I said 'you started that mess?" He said "sure did,,,what happened?" I said "Nixon had the balls to bring us home".
We talked for awhile and shook hands 3 times.
I never hesitate to talk to a man with a sticker,,,,,,,,
