    Did an IST at a pool function on Saturday, and here are the results.

    Previous IST:
    Pull-ups: 26
    Crunches: 76
    Run: 12:36

    Recent IST:
    Pull-ups:27
    Crunches: 109
    Run: 11:34

    The run should come down pretty easy. I was focusing more on the crunches, but now that they are up to standard I can start running a bit more. The improvement was just from running during PT.

    The whole time i was running i just kept saying to myself "deal with the pain of discipline or deal with the pain of regret"

    Also it didnt help that i ate mexican food an hour before
    Sgt Walker said to me as i was finishing my 2nd out of 3rd lap that he wanted to see me sprint the last qtr lap so needless to say i did and boy if i didnt regret those steak nachos as i crossed the finish line

    Undoubtedly next ist i will be qualified in every aspect, i guarantee that

    I had my first and last Pool Validation (hopefully)..
    IST
    Pull-ups: 30
    Crunches: 122
    1.5 run: 9:30

    My run time was slower this time, but I thinks it's because I am not used to running in the cold yet, no excuses though.

    I'm 24, 6'2 and 220. I think I'm the oldest but I'm about to ship.

    Today sealed it, did a Moment of Truth/IST for the shipping validation.

    8 pull ups
    72 crunches
    12:43 1 1/2

    Passed so PI here I come! Oct 11 is approaching soon!

    I ran the 1.5mile in 9:53 last week, but I got cramps .5 miles into it yesterday and my time suffered.

    When I first DEP'd in, I could barely do a pull up. I've only taken one IST and that was at a Pool Validation in August.

    First IST
    Run: 12:33
    Crunches: 67
    Pull Ups: 3

    I failed because of the pull ups but now I'm doing 9 pullups and about 15 more crunches.
