This doesn't apply to the ist but I just ran my first marathon and it took me 4 hours and 30 minutes. Not a great time but just finishing was very motivational.

for running man honestly run 3 miles twice a day and once each week time your mile and a half and you will see a huge improvement.

    As of Today.

11:17 1.5 Mile Run (bad but still best ever)

    Improvement all across the board.

    Wish me luck.

Just took my second IST today, and I'm happy with it considering my progress with our RSS's PT functions during the week.

Pull-ups: 5 (same as last month, but I'm working at it)
    Crunches: 48 (getting better!)
1.5 Mile Run: 11:17 (worse than last month, but I blame the cold temps over here in North Jersey :P)

We also took the CFT, which I did for the first time, and got 2:10, and landed the grenade in the designated area, so that landed me 2:05. Gotta say, I was really happy with that time. CFT is brutal by itself though, those ammo cans wear you out big time.

I know I'm certainly not the strongest person around, but I'm pretty damn happy with myself so far. I have a lot of time until I ship (August 8th of next year), been in the pool since October, so I just gotta keep at the PT! Stay motivated, fellow poolees!
