Run 6 out of 7 days out of the week. For flex arm
Do negatives which is your flex arm hang and slowly coming down. If you can go to a gym I would recommend lat pull down with your own body weight. Usually running would increase your core but I would suggest maxing out on crunches every other day. Don't skip breakfast, eat well, and hydrate

Our recruiting station conducted an IST today.

    Current IST:
    13 Pullups
    95 Crunches
    9:45 1.5 mile run

I am trying so hard on getting more than 100 crunches. I am just five away from a perfect score. As for the pull ups, I am stuck on 12-13 every time. I WILL get to 20, if not, something close to it like 17 or 18. As for my 1.5 running time, It keeps going down which is great. Went from 10:30 to 10:11 and now to 9:45. I WILL get my running time somewhere in the 8 minute mark.

^Good luck with the run time. I had the worst run time when i first started and its dropping amazingly fast.

No need to bore you guys with old stats, Poolee Function this Saturday and ill update with the latest!

The IST with my bro yesterday had me going:

    19 pullups
    130 crunches
    10:38 1.5 mile run.

Not the best pullups and crunches, but my run time went down from 11:00 flat. Never quit!

Any good workouts that will help with pull-ups? I'm only at 8, well as of my last Poolee Function.

Barbell or dumbbell rows, some lat pulldowns, and best of all do some negatives on pullups. Next time you are doing pullups, grab a chair, boost yourself up until your chin is above the bar, then slowly go down. Repeat this many times until you arms are dead.

Doing negatives really helped this poolee get 25 pullups.
Pyramid workouts are great too. Hope this helped.
