    Pull ups (for the heck of it) - 5
    Crunches - 101
    1.5 Mile Run - 15:30

    I know my run time is absolutely disgusting... Running is definitely my weakness and I'm working hard to improve on that. Anyone else struggle with running and have any advice?

    Try running longer distances. This has helped me a lot. Also, once a week do
    speed training. For example, do 30 seconds of sprinting, and then a minute of jogging. Do that for a mile-mile and half.

    Have a monthly multi-Recruit Station PT this Saturday so we'll see what's changed... I ship 20120904

    Run is still weak b/c I've been addicted to my CrossFit strength programming. Even w/o running I've dropped from 11:30 in a few months though.

    *Crunch time, so I'll be going for:
    - 5+miles 2-3times/week
    - 8 sets of 400m sub 1:30 at least once/week
    - Warm up every workout with a minimum of 1mile max effort.
    Even this volume can be increased, Poolees. Do a workout with a weight vest/backpack at LEAST once per week. If you have comfortable boots, use them.
    If you have pool access, go tread water for sets (5minute rest between), train freestyle and swimming on your back. Also train for max distance underwater swimming... over time you'll see an increase in lung capacity/VO2 max due to the bodies adaptation for lack of oxygen.

    At 26 pullups now. Gunna test here in a couple days and see if I can rep out more. I've got at least another one in me

    Did a full on IST with everyone from all the RS stations and I did absolutely horrid. I don't think I've ever performed so bad in my life.

    Ive been working so hard on my running I was at the point of breaking 13 minutes when I go for my 5 mile runs with slight hills and all. But I couldn't even run straight through for a measly mile and a half I had to walk a few times and came in dead last. As for my arm hang I failed there too usually getting close to 60 seconds with some spare energy to bust out some pull ups. I have to do one more next month before I ship and definitely gonna do way better then today.

    Pullups are obviously my weak point here. I've been able to do one or two on my own. Hopefully I'll reach 2 on the next IST so I'll at least pass it.
