My recruiter runs his 3-mile in about 17:00, and I thought that was impressive. sparkie, you have my utmost respect, not just because you're a Marine, but I also have a great sense of reverence for strong runners.

One day I'll run a perfect 3-mile, and then I'll just get faster!

My 3 mile was 16 and change,,don't remember. Long ago. Now I don't always make it when running to the bathroom.
It was my strongset time because I just transfeered from 29 Palms to Pendleton. All most 4 thousand feet to sea level. Too much oxygen. There is a reason for everything.

Well, I finally found this damn thread!! All I know is back when I was a Poolee I wished some recruit would of offered to received letters and to write back with personal experience while actually at boot camp. I'm surprised no one took that offer but it is what it is. I graduated today, Sept. 17th. 2nd Bn, Fox Company, Plt 2128, Honor Plt.
