    Question Mcrdsd/pi

I always read that if you are east of the Mississippi you go to PI but I am from Michigan and I am going to San Diego. Anybody know the reason for this?

It could be because MCRD's are jammed up with New recruits in June, July and August.........and you got an open space there.

Probably because you're west of the Mississippi River.
