The Marines are hiring civilian police. A law enforcement friend passed this to me, I wonder if the would hire an old fat bald guy like me (not really fat but that sounds funnier with the old and bald part). Go to www.usmccle.com and it spells out what they are looking for.

Too bad I live no where NEAR a Marine Corps base. Otherwise I would look into it...reserve MP working as a civi LEO on base? lol...

Why not?
I knew a reserve Navy Lt Cmdr who was also a GS12. Her regular job was the GS gig and her drill job was also the exact same job. Same desk everything. Put on kackies once a month and work a weekend. Talk about double dipping that was the topper. The 2 weeks a year she would just take leave from the day job. Getting paid twice to go out and ride around on a boat or whatever.

Polezei you could have the best of both worlds. Look into it!
