    Books about USMC founding and early history

    I'd like to read up these topics and was hoping you all could provide some good book suggestions. I checked my library and didn't find anything.

    There are a HUGE amount of books out there on Marine Corps history. You might start by trying google with your term, then going to the Marine Corps Museum website, then the Marine Corps History section website.

    Also, check out the Commandants reading list. All are good starting points.
