Never ever EVER use black powder measures

when using smokeless powder in a muzzle loader !!!

Use a powder scale & weigh your charges.

Here I am, Bulkyker, eating a yogurt with mixed berries on the bottom with added black berries. Darn yogurt and photos have the same color schemes. Great timing on my part.

Never heard of a muzzleloader using smokless powder I can see where the problem would arise you would be using something approximatley 10 times as volatile by measurement.I am surprised he is the only one to have blown one up. As they say never ASSUME.

Heck yea ... they even make cartridgeless pre-measured smokless pellets. No measuring involved. If the guy put black powder in a rifle designed to fire smokeless powder it would be like putting gasoline in a diesel engine. Not a good idea.
