Never seen that many Gunny's before and why so many DI's for one platoon? Congrats and Semper Fidelis.

thanks to all of you my brother and sisters and yes it was very hard for my platoon. Why 6 DI's? well one of them was a replacement because one of them went to the swim instructors school and the last one, he was fresh out of DI school

We had 3 DI's but never seen a Gunny come fresh out of DI school they were Sgt's in my time.

We had 5 total (maybe 6?), though they definitely weren't all Gunnys (and they weren't all there at the same time). That's kinda scary actually. Haha.

And just in case anyone wants to be like "You're a liar, there's no way that's possible!" 4 of those 6 Marines are listed in the GAL as part of Kilo, and one of the other 2 is also listed as a DI, so he's telling the truth.

    Congrats Marine.

A 5-6 Gunnery Sergeant team? How cool is that for the Drill Instructors?

Although, it must have been a good time for you when there was an "All Drill Instructor" requirement on the training schedule. Like the humps and PT...

    Tee-hee.

Coming from a time when three of us used to have to wrangle back-to-back 90 recruit herds (summer) that usually over-lapped for a few days and we could all fall asleep standing-up, what a break that must be. Sorry for you to have fresh and rested Drill Instructors all the time, though.
