    mp mwd selection essay

    im currently trying to get selected out of my mp school platoon for k9. we have to write an essay on why we want to go mwd. any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Using sentences, correct grammar, and spelling would be a good starting point.

    Lemon- just honestly, in your own words state why you would want to take on the challenge of police work with a canine partner. How about your previous experiences with dog training or maybe just your favorite pet growing up, or that you never had one, etc., etc. Once you get going I'm sure you won't have too many problems coming up with reasons of why you would be right for this added responsibility.

    Do i need to call down to Ft Leonardwood and inform SSgt or MSgt Roberto your asking for help on your k9 essay???

    maybe Sgt Spence, im not sure who your instructors are but..

    Talk to SSgt. Mendoza. He'll set you on the right track, he's an awesome Marine. And Ramadi01, it's MYGYSGT Roberto.

    update. i finally got the essay rolling and did it. like u said once it got going should be no problem. but the board was the other day and found out i got accepted. just a little more training here at ft lost in the woods and then im rollin out to texas!

    Congratulations! Get in contact with this Marine..http://www.leatherneck.com/forums/member.php?u=44153. He just recently went through the course and did very well from my recollection of postings. He seems like he's good to go and will probably be more than willing to give you some advice. Congrats again!
