    Help Please!

    I have wanted to follow my father's footsteps and serve in the greatest military force in the world, for as long as I can remember. When I was 17 I tried to enlist and was disqualified for having a partial hearing loss in one ear. I then applied for and was awarded a 4 year NROTC-marine option scholarship, only to have that taken away for the same reason. If anyone could offer any advice on how I could achieve my dream of becoming a Marine, I would be forever grateful.

    Agree. No chance. Look into civilian service careers such as Law Enforcement, Firefighting, EMT. You can still serve, just not in the military.
