You claim to be a Poolee in the DEP but you stated you have not enlisted and you do not have a ship date, there for you are still a wannabe and are not a Poolee, please contact a Mod and have account changed to the correct status.

Also, instead of infantry/recon I'm leaning more toward EOD and POG jobs. Every Marine's a Rifleman, so why not be a trained killer, and also be trained in other things as well?

yeh, but he probably was not really motivated to get his degree. I will.
Say we wake up at 0600 for PT
dont start work until 0800, let's say I have a 10 hour day, i get off at 1800
so I have 12 hours to spare right?
everyday I will use 8 of those hours for sleep, then 4 for school.
Going to be a no-fun stressfull 4 years. But it'll be worth it.

I'm shipping off to MCRDPI on April 5th (a week and a half) and am going as 8152 Security Force Guard. Once that two year billet is up, I'm going to try out for Recon. If I don't make it, then I am going to apply for the MECEP program and hopefully get my commission after I finish school. I'm going to try for flight school!

i want to be a mustang officer, so naturally, i must serve enlisted first, make corporal and then apply for MECEP or the Officer Boost program to get to get to MECEP if i can't get their directly. I hope to be a ground officer, but i'll do whatever the Corps wants me to do.

He may have just got jumpy. Good luck on your ASVAB. I'm sure you will do fine. I made an 88 and had 10+ unanswered questions. I'm not happy with that score at all though. I qualify for any job I want in the Marine Corps (or at least that is what my recruiter says).
