questions on joining

Whats up everyone? I have been thinking of joining the marines for about a year now. I am almost decided to go, but I want to be 100 percent before i go. But anyways i just want to ask some questions to people who know. As far as choosing a job, from what i know is that you pick a field, but not the job inside of that field. I know if i go that i want to go infantry, i would really like to be a rifleman but i will do any job that is needed. But as a said my #1 would be rifleman, so what does everyone think my chances of getting that would be? I live in NC so i would also like to be stationed at lejeune, but once again i would be ok with anywhere. What would the chances of that be? And also I am about 6 ft. 195 probably somewhere around 12% bf.. Would i need to work on more stregnth or endurance training when preparing for boot camp? How should i do my best to prepare mentally also? would like to hear from former or prior marines. thank you
