Hello Marines. If its not a problem, may i have the privilege to post in the Ask a Marine forum? I'm currently just a wannabe with a GED who needs 6 more college credits which I should be getting before February by taking a CLEP exam. I'm already in contact with a recruiter. I would like to discuss the top 5 MOS's i have in mind with Marines or poolees. In case your wondering what my interest's are, here it goes:

1.MOS 8152 - - Marine Corps Security Force (MCSF) Guard
2.MOS 1812 --M1A1 Tank Crewman
3.MOS 0311 -- Rifleman
4.MOS 0231 --Intelligence Specialist
5.MOS 5811 -- Military Police
(My GT score was 109)

That's my list . I'd be lying if i told you im not nervous or scared, but I'm hoping the D.I's will help me conquer these butterflies. Since my brother was hurt in iraq, and can't re-enlist i feel as if i can fill his shoes although i might not be 0311 as he was, i just want to be part of the family. Some of my relatives and friend's are pretty much saying its inevitable that I'll die or be hurt, i know it's B.S but it just gets me nervous. I hope when i come back to check this post I'll read something that will boost my spirits lol, because everyone keep's telling me negative s***. God Bless you all, .

You can post in the Marine Family forum, or you can PM a mod...jinelson or thedrifter...and ask them to change your status from Marine Family to Marine Friend. Then you'll be able to post in the Ask A Marine forum.
