Program helps Marines adjust to civilian life
The 2-year-old program, based in Quantico, Va., helps Marines make the transition from active duty back into civilian life.
The keys to the program are Hometown Links, Marine reservists serving designated geographic areas as a point of contact for Marines in transition.
"Hometown Links function to assist transitioning Marines who are returning to the civilian community after serving honorably in active duty," said Maj. Whitney Mason, public affairs officer for the program.
