I have been thinking about Joining

    Hello Marines,
I have been talking to my bro who leaves for Boot soon, and I've been wanting to join. I've tried to talk to the a recruiter and he told me he cant talk to me until I'm 17. But what is getting me is this. I have a small cyst on my brain i found that out over 8 years I had a MRI and they said that it was only a small one, but i don't want to risk going back to the doctor and them saying its bigger and then saying i cant join.....Should I go back to the doctor and get it checked? Or when I enlist tell the recruiter and see if he can find away passed it?

    Thanks for your time Marines

    Jillian

Try saying......your brother is going to boot camp, not boot.
As for the cyst on your brain, I would go to your family dr and have it checked out. I highly doubt that you would be able to get a waiver for a cyst on your brain. That's not something that anyone would want to take a chance on letting go, and then have something serious happen to you because they did let you go.
And don't even think about lying to a Recruiter about it, and then someone finds out about it. Then you'll be discharged for fraudulent enlistment.
Get it checked out by your family dr.
