    Tapering workout before shipping to Basic?

    Good Afternoon, My name is Graham Dean and I ship to Recruit Training on Dec. 1 2009. Including today I have 31 days left! I was wondering when i should begin to taper my workout in order to avoid an injury and rest up priop to Basic. I was planning on continueing my normal workout untill atleast a week before i leave. Should i begin to slow my workout sooner or should i wait untill just a few days before departure to slow down? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    you should start tapering your workout usually around two to three weeks before you leave. now because you are tapering your workout doesnt mean stop completely and get fat and nasty. but definatly slow it down. i wish you good luck while at bootcamp and get a little book with as many address's in it so that you have them when you are able to write. if you need someone who has actually been through the bootcamp to write to ill give you my address, just message me.
