Check out this new-Camaro-to-'Trans-Am'-conversion. I think it's pretty damn sweet! Better lookin' than the Camaro, sorry to say.

Sweet, but I still like the camaro better. Those rims do nothing for me.hehe. I do like the new challenger too, I saw one in dark grey, plane jane no bells and whistles but something about it was freaking cool.

I agree on some cars, it looks pretty cheap with all the flash and plastic. pontiac grand am comes to mind as being hideous on the plastic.

I love Trans Am's, always have, but this looks too much like a Camaro still. If they really made a new Trans Am, now that'd be something. This is just a Camaro with some minor cosmetics.

Actually Doc, the new Camaros are a great deal. Even the V-6 has some ass to it, and the SS puts those ****ty mustangs everyone and their brother drives to shame. I'm no Chevy fan. I'm not really partial to any one brand, just models, and the new Camaro's are spot on for price and performance. This one just happens to sully the reputation of the 'Bird.

I am a Chevy man, but I have liked the looks of many Firebirds better than Camaros (especially the '67 and '68). It doesn't look like the General isn't coming out with a Firebird, so people are coming up with their own versions of the 'Bird. I like the looks of this 'concept' 'Bird, except for the hood scoop and rear spoiler.

man remember back in the sixties, when you could have a Camaro SS for 3 grand, drink beer at 18, and party like it was going out of style, **** wait, back that up, I wasn't born yet and missed all the good ****. Story of my life. Now Im stuck with buying an old classic muscle car for 20, grand, or buy a brand new Camaro for about the same price with warranty....mmmmmm I may have to think about this for a little more. LOL

EDIT: I ****ing knew I should have bought that 67' Pontiac Le Mans for 1500 bucks a few years ago!
