My parents and family are originally from the Detroit area so I'm a closet Lions fan, when they not playing the Bears. My favorite Lions players were Mike Lucci and Lem Barney....Sanders was a great to watch also. But I was a Payton fan already.
Little Lions History:
The Lions have only won four NFL Championships, the last in 1957. The Lions have yet to qualify for the Super Bowl. The team has qualified for the playoffs only nine times in the more than 50 years since winning the 1957 championship and has won only one playoff game in that span.

The Lions lost to the Green Bay Packers 31-21 on Sunday, making them the first team to go winless through a 16-game season. The 1976 expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-14) were the last NFL team to complete a season without a victory.
