Witnesses at last: Video of LeBron James getting dunked on
TMZ posted a cell phone video of Xavier's Jordan Crawford dunking on LeBron James(notes) at the LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron today, but, well, their footage was as disappointing as baked beans and water for Christmas dinner. In fact, it looked like a water painting I did in Ms. Dodd's art class — blurry and undefined.
Thankfully, the crew at eBaum Nation came through in the clutch with a higher quality version of the dunk, which occurs about 30 seconds into the above clip. It's a reverse angle from the TMZ version (embedded below), and while it's also not perfectly framed, you can clearly see Crawford dunk on LeBron.
For those of you in the dark, here's the back story: Crawford dunked on LeBron during a pick-up game at The King's camp, Nike confiscated all known video evidence of the posterization, a lively debate ensued about whether the tapes were taken because they were embarrassing to LeBron or because of a long-standing Nike policy and Brick killed a guy with a trident.
Both angles make it difficult to tell just how nasty the two-handed dunk is, but, hey, it's definitely not "hide the women and children and tapes" worthy. I mean, c'mon, were not talking about Vince giving some French guy a haircut or McGrady riding Shawn Bradley's back. It's just LeBron rotating a little slow on defense and getting caught at the rim by an athletic college kid. Why he and Nike made such a big deal about it is perplexing.

Never get close? Have you SEEN Lebron play?

That don't mean anything at all, everyone gets dunked on in the NBA
If only Lebron wouldn't have been such a baby about the whole thing.
It looked like Lebron just gave a half jump, and didn't fully commit to blocking.
This along with him crying after losing to Orlando has moved him way down my list.

Win it, no. Get to the finals, yes. I think Shaq will be a big enough force to help stop Howard, but Shaq will be nearly useless by the time the team makes it to the finals. He's just too big and too old to keep up for so many games. (unless they sweep their way to the finals, which I don't think is going to happen). Shaq won't be able to stop Gasol unless he gets a LOT of rest.
All irrelevant though...because this is my team!!!

LOL, figures...they didn't show up for most of the season, why should my team show up here?
Should have been a New Orleans Hornets banner.
