    '69-'70 Depot Armory, MCRD San Diego. Issuing 782 gear & M-14s to recruits, getting smokies dry cleaned for the Drill Instructors and saving cracked M14 stocks for desk name plates. 4th & final year & duty station in the Corps.

    San Antonio Texas, specifically Lackland AFB with my Dad watching the landing at the Dog Handlers School. He had just returned to duty after being injured at Ton Son Knut (sp?) AFB, RVN.
