Yea i live on Long Island actually and our Poolee Meetings are at garden city. but for some reason we have just PT'ed at our RS right now.

As you get closer to your shipdate, you'll head over to Garden City and do the huge poolee functions with other poolees from different areas. It's fun. Just bring the game because we've got to represent New York!

Try being in the DEP for almost the longest time possible without being discharged. Sworn in Nov. of last year and finally leaving in 10 days. 11 months in the DEP and its finally getting to the date

The craziest thing is that like a dude on a bike jinxed me a few days before /i got into the accident. He states "Be careful, if you hit one of those pikes, you're dead." And It was a pike that caused my accident. I don't believe in all that laws of the galaxy sh!t but wow.

Well got the call a few mins ago, Leaving in Jan but sure of the exacted date I'm at work and was in a meeting but he just asked want to leave in Jan I said yes then he said come by my office when you get off work.

By the way there is no such thing as being jinxed, superstition, or luck those are words for excuses. Everything happens for a reason good or bad it just happens. Just do what you have to do to get better and use this extra time you have to better prepair yourself for the many challenges that lay before you, look forward insted of backward. Trust me something good will come out of this. Ever heard "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger"

My ship date just changed from the 11th to the 12th, not a big deal; it has to do with some MEPS screw-up. I also just found out my graduation date WILL be January 7th, MCT pick-up date should be the 18th, and finish with that around the beginning of February. Oh! There should be another female shipping with me on that date as well - she's about 30 miles out from Anchorage.

I just got my ship date moved from the 4th to the 11th of Oct. I guess they were supposed to tell me in July, but 10 days before I planned on leaving they tell me its now the 11th -_- Since I enlisted in Nov. of last year they didnt exactly know the ship dates at MEPS and gave me then when there is none. Oh well, an extra week of being at home and waiting to leave.

Lol. Way to drop the ball, right? Anyway, the MEPS liaison (my former recruiter) told me we'll probably end up in November Company (he's not totally sure) and there'll be about 120+ females shipping to P.I. on that date. I don't remember the exact number... Oh, and the other female shipping with me might just end up as my rackmate - her last name is Gonzalez and mine is Garner. Funny the way things work out.
