hoorah is just another spelling of the more commonly used oorah - both of them are shortened versions of the AROOOOOOOGA diving klaxon sound, and both are fairly valid, though oorah definitely takes precedence. the army uses HOOAH bud. the point was that none of us are supposed to use any of those battle cries. s'all good though he'll be able to use it soon enough as long as everything goes well at RT.
