where are the hills in Vietnam?

I'm looking for some info. on Hills in Vietnam. ( hill #'s)I never lived on one, but we did get C's and ammo from them. I see some of the Vietnam bro's talking about them and I would like to have a reference to show my son where I was. Also wondering if any of you guys were associated with my units.
My first unit was A/1/3 3rd FMF. we went over on the troop transport Mc Goffin in July 65 with the 7th Fleet and relieved the 9th Marines holes. The hill we got our C's from was about 2 miles from our perimeter. Another hill was in Chu Lai. and then at Quang Nam Provence, Hue, Phu Bi area with the 7th Marines, B/1/7. I would appreciate your help brothers. If ya want ya can e-mail me a JoeT@USMC0311.com

Semper Fi, Proud to be part of the Vietnam Brotherhood and Proud of all you guys for what you have tolerated through out the years.
    Thanks!!

Thumbs up Hill Numbers in Vietnam

Most of the hills had numbers in meters.
The ones that had been buildup and occupied.
Either had a name or were known by the number in meters.
Such as Freedom Hill or Hill 327.
In 1967 the 7th Marines Regimental headquarters with attach units was located on Hill 55.
I was stationed East of Hill 55.
Just off Anderson trail, our mission was to safe-guard an Arty battary and a bridge that was close by.
Up north there were several Hill that were occupied by various units.
Numbers and names, I'm having a hard time remembering.
Maybe someone can help us here.

All right, haven't found a place that names all the hills, but here's a couple of sites that will help.

    Danang Area Nam Hills

this map covers Danang south to Liberty Bridge. DaNang airbase is in the upper right.

I've got a ton of Maps of I Corps on my web site if you want more.

I was just below Hill 327 with A-1-12. Since my secondary MOS was 3531 I also visited Monkey Mountain and Marble Mountain. We drove supplies from the Mts to the Atry and grunts.
I believe that there was an old French Fort just to the right of Hill 327.

Actually I was a scout forward observer for A/1/12. Not sure if this is the one you're thinking of, but there was a french fort several miles east souteast (I think) of 327 and Alpha Battery was located several hundred meters behind it. I was attached to D/1/1 at the fort for a while and then went to B/1/1 (hill 41). Depending upon when you were with A/1/12, our paths very well might have crossed. I was there 65-66 (first tour)

Sorry Sgt0811, I mis-stated in my prior post. The french fort was southwest of hill 327, not southeast of it. Hill 37 may have been the hill that it was located on.
