Herr Ricardo is doing alright.
As we talked about the night of 14 July 1967.
On our way to the Beaver Falls Downs CPX in 1999.
It might have been 1998.
At the transit faculity, we hung our rifles on the sides of the hooch.
So if you were searching on the floor, your search would come up empty.
The night of 14 July 1967, they must have hit several places.
I observed them hitting our Regitmental CP, than our Bn CP.
I was close to an ARVAN unit, out in the bush and I noticed that the firing was coming from across the river in the northwestly direction.
I shot an azimuth, because I wasn't able to move.
Thought that the ARVAN's might mistake us for the NVA or VC.
I radioed back that azimuth.
And explain to my CO, why we weren't able to moved.
There were rockets overhead for about an hour or more, or it seem that long.
Wish that I could have done more than just shot an azimuth, but they were out range.
If we had fired, I knew the ARVAN's were going to take us underfire, didn't want any deaths to my unit if it was avoidable.
