    moved up the ship date

I DEPed in Sep 2008, but my ship date wasn't until May 26, 2009. I got tired of waiting around, so when my recruiter offered me a closer ship date (May 11) I gladly took it. Tomorrow--or should I say today since it's 2:30 am--is my IST and I ship in 8 days. Thing is, I am a complete ball of nerves, I can't sleep, feel sick, ect. I'm excited, thankful, and feel confident about my fitness level and knowledge, so I don't understand why I'm so freakin' nervous! Just wondering if anyone else on here has experienced or is experiencing this and if any you have any advice on how to just chill the **** out!

    Thanks as always.

I think it's all this anticipation...once I'm there I don't think I'll even be able to think about being nervous. Off to my IST!

Roxie, just try your best to relax and enjoy the rest of the time you have at home with friends and family. Good luck!
