Weapons, equipment show headed to Lejeune

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — A military exposition of weapons and equipment offered by defense companies is being presented to Marines at Camp Lejeune this week.

The base said the annual Marine South military exposition will be held Wednesday and Thursday. Troops and buyers of such equipment can discuss specific needs and experiences with makers of equipment ranging from small arms to unmanned ground and air vehicles.

Marines also will get a look at equipment they may be using the next time they deploy.

The event is open to Department of Defense ID card holders.
